The Human Error Project
We live in historical times, when every detail of our lives is a data point used by AI systems and algorithms to profile us, judge us and make decisions about us. This data that defines us is commercialised in a multiplicity of ways. Health and education practitioners ‘track risk factors’ or find ‘personalized solutions’. Employers, banks and insurers judge clients or potential candidates. Governments, the police and immigration officials use this tech to decide issues about individual lives, from one’s right to asylum to one’s likelihood to commit a crime.
Courtesy of ReMeLife’s focus on such data being used for positive social benefit and on establishing crypto based algorithms that share the value in digital care for the benefit of the community, we’ve been invited to collaborate in this important project.
